longarm quilting pricing
I charge $0.025/square inch for most designs. This price includes thread.
I currently have 3 designs that I offer at a 0.02/square inch if scaled at 10 inches (please ask if you are interested in the budget friendly designs)
Example: A quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches. 60 x 80 = 4800 x .025 = $120.

Yes! I use and stock my favorite Quilters Dream batting in the 80/20 cotton/poly blend and in the 100% cotton along with Hobbs Heirloom 80/20.
Batting is a separate charge and is NOT included in the square inch price.
I charge for batting by the linear inch from queen rolls of batting except in the case of special orders. I will use only what is needed for your quilt (smallest side + a 5″ margin) and charge per inch.
For example, if you have a 60″ x 80″
quilt, I would cut 65″ of the batting of your choice.
65″ of 100% cotton deluxe loft @ $0.58/in = $37.70
65″ of 80/20 cotton/poly blend @ $0.5/in = $32.50
I stock Glide #50 weight. I don’t charge any extra fees for thread use, it’s included in your square inch price.
My personal style attempts to match or blend thread color with the lighter areas of your quilt. But this is YOUR quilt! Let me know if you have a preference on thread color.
Yes! I live in Oregon and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I’d recommend sending your materials enclosed in some kind of sack or bag to protect against possible moisture in transit and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly.
Return shipping: I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via USPS Priority mail. Priority mail comes with $50 of insurance and a tracking number but please indicate on your intake form if you would like me to buy any additional insurance on your behalf. It’s a great idea to insure your valuables against loss or damage while with the Postal Service, but I don’t require it.
At least 8 inches bigger than your quilt top. If you top measures 60 x 60 the backing should be at least 68 x 68. Reach out if you have any questions!
After the work is complete, I will invoice you via PayPal. I really do appreciate timely payments as that enables me to mail your project(s) back to you right away. If you wish to pay another way just let me know.
No, but I do require payment before handing off your quilt or putting it in the mail.
I would be happy to send you photos of your beautiful quilt! You’ll just need to let me know beforehand as I don’t always take pictures of every quilt.
